Physics 195

Individual honors contracts are available for students.  This allows physics 195 students to take mechanics as an honors class.  Upon successful completion of the honors contract, students will be awarded an extra credit for the honors portion of the course.

 Enrolling in a mechanics honors course affords the motivated student an opportunity for greater faculty interaction, advanced training, and the chance to individualize his or her physics education. 

 A typical contract includes learning some advanced problem solving techniques and applying them to more challenging problems.  Students will also research the cutting edge applications of the physics they are studying by completing a web- based research project.
