Here is an example of the ongoing debate between supporters and critics of the theory of evolution. This article suggests that the find of Flores Man  (1) undermines the theory of evolution, and (2) that Flores Man may just be a kind of human dwarves. Other scientists think that (1) the theory of evolution explains Flores Man, and (2) that human dwarves suffer from a genetic disease, while Flores Man is a "dwarfed" species, meaning miniaturized. There is quite a difference between the two.
