Take I-5 north, past the I-5/805 split. Exit at Carmel Valley Rd. Turn left. Follow Carmel Valley Rd. for approx. 2 miles, to a "T" intersection with North Torrey Pines Road/Camino Del Mar...Note: don't turn into the first Torry Pines area you see on Carmel Valley Road. This is not where we're meeting...Keep going until you come to the "T" intersection at the coast. |

Turn left onto N. Torrey Pines Road (although the sign says Camino Del Mar). Proceed approx. 1/2 mile south, to Torrey Pines State Beach, on the right. Enter State Beach. Stop at Guard Station, and mention you're with a pre-arranged Mesa College geology field trip, and your parking fee will be waived! |
