Cuyamaca/Laguna Mountains (Sat, Nov 14th, 9 am to 5 pm)
Meeting Spot: Mesa College flagpole near A100 Building (see campus map for location)
To bring: closed-toed walking shoes, pencil/pen, clipboard, hat, water/drink, lunch, full tank of gas.
Note: we'll be driving a lot today (over 100 miles), so please arrive with a full tank of gas!
Trip summary: After checking out the local sedimentary rocks at Mesa College, we'll head east, into the Laguna Mountains, to investigate Peninsular Ranges batholithic rocks. Depending on available time, we may circle back to San Diego via the Cuyamaca Mountains.
